In Q3 2024 alone, nearly 163,000 rental apartment units were completed, a number larger than most full-year totals between 2003 and 2012. Although the focus on apartment construction dominates the national conversation, Peak is ensuring that affordable, efficient single-family housing options are available for those who prefer living within a community setting.

Sustained Growth and Future Potential

Looking ahead, 2024 is on track to see nearly 600,000 housing unit completions, the highest level since 1974. While much of this supply comes from traditional apartment construction, The Homes at Wolf Creek and our forthcoming DFW communities represent a vital part of the housing mix, offering diversity of choice in the market.
