What We Do

Since 2012, Peak Enterprises has invested in 3 and 4-bedroom factory built, single family home communities on behalf of high-net-worth investors, family offices, private equity firms, insurance companies and some of the largest institutional money managers in the United States.

The Housing Shortage

We believe that there is simply not enough affordable housing in the U.S. right now.  Compounding the problem is the lack of supply and new construction of any sort of affordable housing stock.  This is especially true in the 3 and 4 – bedroom category. Over the next decade, the shortage will be amplified by the growth in family formations caused by income growth, population growth, immigration and demographic trends.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Peak is addressing this housing shortage by developing both land lease manufactured home communities as well as single family, detached CrossMod homes utilizing a number of different types of factory built homes from the largest home manufacturers in the country.

Factory built housing has key advantages over traditionally built homes.  Factory built homes’ vertical construction costs are 15-20% cheaper than site built construction.  Their supply is more dependable as they are built in climate controlled factories.  Additionally, they save homeowners money by being built to the Department of Energy Zero Energy Ready standard.
